Mar. 1 It Goes it Really Really Goes

My Humana work group is Amazing. (Also, we OPEN A Devil at Noon tomorrow!!!) I am so excited I can't wait. I am so blessed to be working with such a self-motivated and enthusiastic group of people. We reduced our change over time from two hours last night down to one hour tonight. It was amazing. We'll see how we do tomorrow with two changes in a day again. Two is one day is tough but not impossible. And within a week we will be doing three changes in one DAY. Life's a bitch but sometimes it sure can be fun.
Peace be with you

Feb. 27 First of a Zillion Change Overs

Today we had our first Humana show change over. And this was my third fifteen hour day in a row. Damn it feels good to be alive. We took out the set of A Devil at Noon and replaced it with the set for Maple and Vine in a little more than two hours. We hope to get that down to under and hour. It seems possible...but oh so hard. It was great to get to work with such a large group of apprentices again and see many of us all in the same place again. I get a really good feeling about this years Humana. I think it is going to just ROCK AND ROLL
Peace be with you

Feb. 26 HUMANATARIANISM

SO THE GREAT HUMANA HAS BEGUN!
I am already exhausted. I am also very excited. It is going to be wonderful I can tell. It is going to be tiring, fatiguing, frustrating and that will only take us to lunch. But seriously I am not sure if I have ever been this intimidated by a work schedule before. The mystery also holds the exhilaration. I know I have not blogged in a while, but I have been just so busy I don't even have time to think. Ok, that's no excuse, but I have been very busy. But I'm here right? Tomorrow we preview A Devil At Noon. It is one hell of a show. I am very excited to be on the crew for it. And I can't wait to get cracking on the other shows that are soon to be infiltrating the Bingham theater.
Peace be with you

Feb. 12 Jazz

Went to Indianapolis today. Ate great food. Met cool people and listened to amazing JAZZ music performed by the musical talent of Kurt Elling!
It's just been a great day.

Feb. 12 Where we go we no know

More work on the apprentice show The End. It was fun. We had a three hour fight workshop. I get eaten by a zombie!
I went out to dinner and a movie with Liz. We saw, The King's Speech. It was pretty good I must say.
Tomorrow I am going to see a concert by Kurt Elling. I am very excited. I love his music and can't wait to go see him.
I think this has shaped up to be a great week.
Peace be with you

Feb. 9 Write in and Spike it

I have been all in a tizzy recently. I have been working on a couple independent projects. First is on gaining info on how to direct Shakespeare. It has been a lot of fun getting to work with my peers on this and getting to see the kinds of differences in style we all have. Second, I have been doing a lot of writing on the topic of racism in the United States of America. It has just been on my mind and I have had to express myself in some way through art. I am not sure if either of these temporary musings will result in anything concrete when all is said and done but for now I am passionate about it and hope the momentum not only lasts but gains velocity.
Peace be with you
